In January I bought a pretty decent 3D printer to start making things for my wifes home bakery business as well as small things I can use or sell. The latest are the plastic clips that hold hockey sticks to the wall on a rack.

Welcome! Goodbye to Etsy!

I finally left Etsy. The fees and restrictions became too much to deal with. Many times, rival sellers would falsely report other sellers for copyright and trade mark violations. I had that happen with a Rosie the Riveter image that I drew in Illustrator. A husband and wife team claimed copyright for the image and I was left holding the bag. Etsy immediately closed my listing and sent me a nastygram. The other seller was super arrogant and claimed they had the trade mark on it; there was nothing I could do. The worst part was I had planned to donate the proceeds perpetually to Susan J Komen for breast cancer research (this was back in October when I made the file with a pink bandana and the breast cancer awareness symbol). I managed to collect just over $30 in sales before the listing was nuked and I donated it all. Goodbye Etsy.
